John Paul Salas is an associate with Mase Lara Eversole. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation, maritime, personal injury and construction law. After graduating from the University of Florida and prior to attending law school, Mr. Salas managed a start-up import-export business and worked as a business development executive with a multi-national corporation.  Mr. Salas received his law degree from Florida State University.  During law school, Mr. Salas was an intern at the Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation, served two terms as Vice President of the Spanish American Law Student Association (S.A.L.S.A.), and was a member of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law.

Mr. Salas is a volunteer for the Dade County Bar Association – Put Something Back Pro Bono Project, Legal Lines, and the Community Partnership for the Homeless – Next Gen.  Mr. Salas speaks Spanish fluently.
